WOT?! You didn’t see that coming, did you? Well loyal blog readers did read my announcement on Monday and since loyalty should be rewarded here is free bonus track to all my Newsletter subscribed friends.
Dol Ammad – “Omniversal God”
“Omniversal God” is derived from an outtake from the “Hyperspeed” sessions and I was keeping it hidden in my drawers for some time. I’d like to thank artist David Winnen who kindly offered his artwork for the cover of the track and also the video I’ve put together.
I hope you enjoy it, see you later for more!
No! Please…I want some more…don’t drag me off the sea…I’m afraid time is up for my 2013 vacations and I have to leave the beautiful sea and nature and return to an ugly grey box in Thessaloniki. Thankfully the insides of the box hold my studio and personal world-bubble so it won’t be so bad once I’m there.
I want to stay here forever…
A heavenly sunrise to wake you up full of hope.
Mind cleared, ideas spawned, plans drawn.
Batman can’t believe vacations are over.
Thank you nature, goodbye…
So to make the transition back into the disgusting cities a little easier, I am preparing a nice goodie for all my friends out there. I have a Dol Ammad bonus track left out of the “Hyperspeed” sessions that I will give away for free this Friday! I am putting some gloss and shine and will inform you through the newsletter when it is ready for you to download. So see you all this Friday 🙂
After the first week of my vacations I have to report that I am making huge progress on my upcoming new “Dol” project. The clear air and nature allow me to work more focused than ever and I am really happy with the results so far.
However lately, I notice some strange alterations to my compositions…it seems that something is messing up with the volume and intensity of my most extreme parts. Maybe there is something wrong with my inspiration portal. I should check and fix it…
I decided to leave town for a couple of weeks. I was feeling exhausted lately and really needed to recharge my batteries. To get my creative juices flowing again, I transported myself with my Inspiration Portal into the Greek Countryside where I am planning my next music creations.
I am planning tons of new stuff, my most important being the third “Dol” project which will be unveiled very soon. I wish you all have a great summer, take the time to leave the ugly cities and immerse into the beauty of nature. Stay Cosmic 🙂
So here is the third music video for the Dol Theeta EP “Keep Deep”. It is our special rendition of the classic Renaissance song “Flow My Tears” by John Downland. Apart from the ethereal vocals and guitar of Kortessa, the video features my furry little demon chilling around the studio. I hope you enjoy it!
The final video from the “Keep Deep” EP is reaching its last stage of production and features a special guest-star (who we found running around the studio). Here are some screenshots for you to enjoy:
The video will be online this Thursday the 4th of July. See you then 🙂
Here is a nice cosmic trip with the Dol Theeta song “The Universe Expands (The Big Bang)”. Because everything sounds better with whale sounds…
My new Spacecast is just uploaded and it is dedicated to all you waveform-geeks out there. I decided to offer a glimpse behind the elements that make “Keep Deep”. It’s a look on my inspirations and personal highlights of this song. I hope you enjoy it and if you feel interested in this kind of videos let me know for more in the future. Cheers!
Done! “Keep Deep” is now also available through the iTunes store here and also through the Dol Theeta bandcamp page.
What’s cool about the Bandcamp page is that you can stream and listen to the full EP:
C ya very soon with an upcoming Spacecast!
After popular request, I’ve just installed a Currency Converter into the shop. Now it’s easier to translate our prices into other popular currencies.Yay! Check it out at the right sidebar of the shop.
Please note that since I am located in Europe, the final transaction will be charged in Euros. But I think it is a useful tool for your reference. The conversion is taking place using data from the Open Exchange Rates so it is updated dynamically. I hope you like it, cheers!
