It has been a breathless and challenging trip at times, but there’s no denying the skill and effort required to make this music work with the strength and clarity with which it does.
Similar to Dol Ammad, this 2008 album from Dol Theeta leaves a slightly more immediate impression and is definitely the most readily accessible starting point for Lightbridge’s electronica meets Therion style work.
This is interesting and innovative music that borrows from such a wide variety of places that the end results are unsurprisingly original, but pleasantly coherent and engaging.
I am so glad to reveal that it’s been some months now that I have been working full time on new material for the 3rd full Dol Ammad album which will be entitled “Hyperspeed”.

Though electronic driven music often sounds emotionless to the majority of hard rock/metal listeners, this is not the case here. Music full, lush and occasionally spectacular is what you get. Buy.

The song itself is excellent. It’s oozing with Dol Theeta’s style and minimalism (compared to Dol Ammad). It has everything an excellent Dol Theeta song should have.
